PostOnFire is a social bookmarking/networking site for bloggers & blog readers.
It's a free online community anyone can join. PostOnFire users discover & share the best blog posts on the net. PostOnFire includes a voting system that put our readers in control of which blog posts should be in the front page.
When a new link to a blog post is submitted, it will be added instantly to our "just submitted" section. When a blog post link in the "just submitted" section receives enough votes and less "extinguish", it will move to the front page "hot posts".
"Extinguish" is a feature that let users report a link that is not worthy or it's a spam. When a blog post link receives too much "extinguish", it will be discarded.


How does a blogger get traffic from being a member?

By being a member, blogger can submit blog posts including his/her own posts. A blogger will have the opportunity to expose his/her blog posts to other bloggers & thousands of other PostOnFire visitors. In addition, each blog post link submission links directly to the blog post URL, this way each post will receive traffic easily.
There are other features available includes:
- A comment feature to help bloggers receive feedback from other bloggers or members.
- Member profile with a Description/Friends list/Stats/ShoutBox/Favorite/Save. (You can try all these features when you become a member). All these features help members to network with other bloggers or blog readers & make friends.
- A Top user list & a reward system. Not much here, but we just wanna recognize & thank our biggest contributors. The more you vote, submit, click & view other people links and comments on other links the more chance your profile link/image will be on the top user list

What are the rules of submitting a link?

PostOnFire rules are simple:
- Only submit blog posts including yours. (This is obvious, PostOnFire is a bookmarking service specifically for bloggers, so bloggers & blog readers will benefit most from blog post links)
- Link directly to the blog post not the main blog URL.(Don't link to the About Us page, sales page, ad page or a forum post) - ( This is also obvious, you wanna put your posts on fire :) )
- Don't game the system by trying to register with multiple users or submit spam posts. Being on the frontpage doesn't always mean traffic and popularity. By just submitting your posts, you give the readers options to vote, give feedback and click your links. Even if your post doesn't make it to the frontpage, you'll still benefit from the service.

- Follow the rules of link submission.
- Follow the law of reciprocity: Review & vote for other links, comment & give feedback, click & check other members blogs & profile. They will simply do the same ( try it & see for yourself )
