I was one of those kids, ya know, the ones with glasses in grade school. I got them in 4th grade as I recall, and was called four eyes by a boy the first day I wore them to school (don't worry, I chased him across the field at recess and do recall pushing him into the ground, I may have been blind but I wasn't going to take that from a silly boy). I got contacts really early and my eyes continued to get worse, now they are at 20/700, oh ya, I'm blind as a bat. Since I know how important vision is (and the lack thereof), I thought I'd make sure our kindergartener is up on when to get her eyes checked. So when is it recommended?
